How this works

Guide to Legacy Defenders

A simple guide to talking with Keith, building a free estate strategy, organizing records, and knowing when a person should help.

Start

Most people do not need a service catalog first. They need someone to help them slow down, protect the house, see the money, and choose the next safe step.

Start with Keith. Tell us what happened in plain English. A few rough numbers and photos are enough to build the first estate strategy. No SSNs, passwords, payment cards, full account numbers, medical records, or full tax returns.

1Tell Keith what happened

One sentence is enough to begin.

2Add rough facts and photos

House, cash, offer, bills, belongings, risks.

3Explore the strategy

Use the tools to estimate, draft, compare, and revise.

4Bring in people

A person checks the plan, firm pricing, and execution when the decision matters.

What Keith Builds

The first strategy is not a final answer. It is a calm starting point. It shows what is known, what is missing, what could cost money, and what decision deserves attention first.

ProtectStop avoidable loss

Grass, utilities, insurance, access, leaks, bills, vacant-home risk.

Estate MathSee the financial picture

When To Call

Technology helps us organize facts faster and offer more human support at a lower cost. It does not replace judgment. Call us when you feel stuck, when money is at risk, or when a decision should not be made alone.

Good moments to talk to us:

  • before accepting a low offer
  • before throwing away or storing a house full of belongings
  • before approving repair, cleaning, storage, or contractor work
  • when insurance, utilities, grass, mortgage, taxes, or vacancy risk cannot wait
  • when family emotions or distance make the work hard to manage
  • when a lawyer, CPA, realtor, lender, appraiser, insurer, or contractor needs cleaner records

Records

The strategy helps gather records for review. It does not decide tax deductions, legal authority, appraised value, loan approval, insurance coverage, listing strategy, or licensed trade requirements.

Room photos Mortgage and liens Utilities and taxes Insurance notices Storage logs Item sale notes Donation records Provider scopes Receipts and invoices Offer and value notes Title/deed questions Professional questions

For Pennsylvania inheritance-tax questions, use these records with the right attorney, CPA, or tax preparer. See PA Probate Help.

Boundaries

Legacy Defenders organizes the practical house-side work: photos, facts, belongings, costs, provider scopes, timelines, and records. We are not a law firm, CPA firm, tax preparer, lender, appraiser, realtor, insurance agency, home inspector, used car dealer, auctioneer, or licensed trade contractor.

In-person help is currently a Pittsburgh / Allegheny-area pilot. The online strategy can be used more broadly.

First safe step

Tell Keith what happened.

You do not need perfect records. Start with the rough facts and the next step gets smaller.
