Service Boundaries
What Legacy Defenders does and does not do, including legal, tax, lending, appraisal, real estate, and licensed trade boundaries.
What Legacy Defenders Does
Legacy Defenders helps families, executors, heirs, and referral partners organize the practical house-side work around inherited homes. That can include planning visits, belongings workflows, item routing, provider coordination, photos, receipts, scopes, records, and project reporting.
Belongings, Storage, And Vehicles
Executor-controlled estate storage is separate from Legacy central processing storage. Legacy central storage is for items the estate authorizes us to tag, photograph, clean, pack, ship, distribute, research, restore-coordinate, sell-support, donate, discard, or return. Legacy can help advertise and coordinate a vehicle sale, not act as a used car dealer; the estate remains the seller, and title, notary, POA, odometer, buyer, and PennDOT agent requirements must be handled properly.
What Legacy Defenders Does Not Do
Legacy Defenders is not a law firm, CPA firm, tax preparer, lender, insurance agency, appraiser, auctioneer, used car dealer, real estate brokerage, home inspector, or licensed trade contractor. We do not decide legal ownership, probate authority, tax treatment, financing approval, insurance coverage, appraised value, listing strategy, vehicle title authority, or licensed construction requirements.
Professional Review
Legal, tax, lending, insurance, appraisal, real estate, licensed trade, donation, estate distribution, and custody questions should be reviewed by the appropriate qualified professional. We can help organize information and questions for those professionals, but we do not replace them.
Executor Control
The executor, administrator, authorized heir, homeowner, or other legally authorized person must approve access, spending, belongings movement, provider work, and final decisions. We help make the work clearer; we do not take control of the estate.
